Class Policies
Fees & class schedule
Refund policy:

Class fees cover instructed class time (as listed in specific class schedule), use of tools and equipment, open studio hours, studio glazes and firing up to 25 lbs of clay. Additional work may be fired for a fee.

Classes are subject to change if minimum student quota isn't met (7 students).

Class switches will only be available 1 week prior to the commencement of classes and based on the capacity of classes at time of request.​

Class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Refund or Credit (minus $20 processing fee) if a request for refund is received TWO WEEKS and only two weeks before the start of a class.

No refunds or credits after attending 1st class.

Classes missed due to failure to attend, planned absences, minor illnesses or vacations will not be credited for future classes.

One-Time class registrations such as Drop-In Clay or Friday Night Clay are considered final ONE WEEK before start of class.

Personal belongings and pottery:

Any greenware items following week 6 or end of session will be discarded to make room for the next session

Any left over bisque/glazeware will be held for 6-weeks following a class session for pick-up. Following 6-weeks pieces will be donated/or discarded to make room for future classes.

Attendance/Make-up:
Open studio hours for students:
​Students are highly encouraged to come in and use the studio outside of class time to work on their practice and ensure this is a highly rewarding experience. Open studio hours below.

Monday- Thursday: 10AM-6PM

Friday & Saturday: 10AM-9PM

Sunday 10AM-7:30PM

Masks are now optional in our studios.

Air filters, HVAC turned on, windows will be open in an effort to keep good air quality throughout the studios.

It is mandatory for all students who are new to the studio attend the first week of classes.

Make-Up classes are not guaranteed, but we try and be as flexible, when feasible. If you have to miss a class, please check the schedule (per your studio) through this link here, and you may attend a different comparable class during that given week (subject to there is space in the class). Please show up a few minutes prior to the start of the class in order to request attending that class and to meet the instructor.

Woodshop Class Policies

Class fees cover instructed class time (as listed in specific class schedule), use of tools and equipment, and materials.

All lumber required for a class is provided unless stated otherwise.

Classes are subject to change if minimum student quota isn't met (4 students).

Class switches will only be available 1 week prior to the commencement of classes and based on the capacity of classes at time of request.​
Class Storage:
Classes are allotted shelves to store their projects during the run of the class.If pieces become too large to fit, they can be placed on the top shelf or in front of the class shelves as long as they do not block access to them.

Students are expected to take their project home on the last day of class. Any student who does not complete their project is allowed to attend 1 Sunday office hours to finish.
Abandonment Policy:
Student work should leave the woodshop after the last class of the session. If your work is unfinished or you are unable to transport your project after your last class, your work will be stored for a maximum of 6 weeks after your last class.
We have limited storage space in the woodshop, and would really appreciate it if students would pick their work up in a timely manner. Work that is not finished or picked up within the 6 week period will be forfeit and scrapped.
Pets:
No dogs or pets in the woodshop :(

Student Woodshop Access:
Students have shop access during class time and office hours only. Students may come in at most 1 hour before class begins to work on their projects, however, this time must be supervised by woodshop staff or their instructor.
Students are expected to communicate with their instructor should they plan to come in outside of their normal class period.
Attendance/Make-up:
If a student is going to miss a class, they should inform their instructor as soon as possible of the expected absence. This missed class can either be made up during future class periods or during Sunday Office Hours.
