Membership Program

Dive a bit deeper into your craft and join the studio as a member. You'll have open studio access at our Oakland space from 10am - 9pm, Monday through Saturday, and 10am - 7:30pm on Sundays. Your membership includes a shelf space (18" x 18" x 36") as well as access to brand new Shimpo Whisper wheels, handbuilding tables, slab roller, extruder, 20+ unique glazes, and even more!

We'll also be making use of our beautiful outdoor space with regular community Raku firings and BBQs!

What we're looking for:

Individuals who have a passion for the discipline and will use the space (at least 2/3x a week)
You believe in the community aspect of a working studio. You'll want to be active and involved in some studio endeavors (i.e. mentorship, teaching opportunities, members sales) and enjoy conversing with fellow students and members.
A level of proficiency in wheel-throwing, hand-building, and/or slip-casting so that you can work autonomously
Added bonus if you have a friendly 🐶 that is good around other dogs and people!

Membership Options

Individual Quarterly ($615 for 3 months)

Individual Semi-Annual ($1055 for 6 months)

“Family” Quarterly ($725 for 3 months - you plus one)

“Family” Semi-Annual ($1,255 for 6 months - you plus one)

Membership Includes

Dedicated private shelf and access to members-only wheel space
Access to glaze at all studios (Potrero Hill, SoMa, and San Mateo and Oakland) which includes 75+ glazes
Exclusive "Power Hour" classes held 3-4 times per month, for members to receive free formal lessons from staff
Free events and heavily discounted specialized workshops
Extended open studio hours
Use of studio equipment, underglazes, oxides, mason stains, and firing fees (all included in the cost of clay!)
