Let Clayroom host your next party, team offsite, or group event!
Private Events (Ceramics & Woodworking)
Our facilities can accommodate up to 50 people and events are designed to be creative, casual (BYOB!) and a lot of fun. We offer events Monday - Friday between 10:30am and 5:30pm. For ceramics packages, participants will learn basic wheel and/or handbuilding techniques. For woodworking, we have an array of options that will teach both spindle-turning and creating with hand tools. Read below for more information on post-event processing, rates, and booking options.
Post Event Processing:
Pottery: Your team will select a glaze color for each piece and we will do the rest! Pieces will be trimmed, fired, and glazed for you. This process typically takes 4-6 weeks, after which you will receive an email that your creations are ready for pickup. All finished work will be dishwasher, microwave and of course, food safe :)
Woodworking: Your pieces will be finished during the event and are free to go to their forever homes once the class is finished! A great option for those visiting from out of town.

Wheel-throwing
Package C: Wheel-throwing & Hand-building
Price: $110/person
Duration: 3 hours
What you'll make: Spend half the time on the wheel and the other half hand-building. Get dirty while making both functional and artistic work.
Free additional Options: Wheel-throwing Olympics, group throwing, candle making (holidays only)
In-person Woodworking Offerings

Package A: Serving Boards
Price: $110/person
Duration: 2.5 hours
What you'll make:
Try your first taste of woodworking with this one time class. You'll make a simple shaped serving board with a handle. This class requires no woodworking experience and all the materials are included.

Package B: Muddler Making
Price: $110/person
Duration: 3 hours
What you'll make:
Learn the fundamentals of spindle-turning by making your own muddler! No woodworking or woodturning experience is necessary and all materials are supplied.
Max # of Participants: 6
(For safety reasons alcohol won't be permitted during this event, only after)
Package C: Chopsticks
Price: $95/person
Duration: 2 hours
What you'll make:
Try your first taste of working with hand tools in this one time class. Students will shape, sand and finish two sets of chopsticks. This class requires no woodworking experience and all the materials are included.
